Jeremy Morgan discussing artist Shanna Bruschi's work

Jeremy Morgan discussing artist Shanna Bruschi's work

This Artist Seminar is taught by Jeremy Morgan, MFA, Associate Professor in the Painting Department, San Francisco Art Institute. Jeremy Morgan has been facilitating Artist Seminars for the Lucid Art Foundation since 2008. He taught at the Arts and Consciousness Department at John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley, California. Jeremy is a painter and has exhibited his work internationally.

Seminar Description: A master in method, material, and critique, Jeremy Morgan will give feedback on each participant's artwork. The aim of these seminars is to expand artists' understanding and relationship to their artwork by exploring the nonrepresentational aspects of the inner worlds as well as encouraging dialogue about arts and consciousness. Auditors are always welcome.

Participating Artists: The Lucid Art Foundation's Artist Seminars are designed only for practicing artists or graduating art students who want to deepen their practice of art and receive support and feedback on their work. The seminars are nonjudgmental, encouraging, and for painters whose work is nonrepresentational, abstract, or nonobjective. Four artists will be selected for each seminar from submitted applications. Participants will each receive approximately 45 minutes of feedback from Jeremy and there will be 15 minutes breaks between participants. Cost: $50 (per session).

Auditors: There are no requirements for people who want to be auditors other than an interest in art. Cost: $20 (per session).
