Lucid Art is the convergence of the universal creative force expressed in a spontaneous work of art that elicits in the viewer a sudden awakening of an aspect of the inner-worlds.

Lucid Art Foundation

The Lucid Art Foundation was founded in the fall of 1998 as a California non-profit private operating organization 501(c)(3), to explore the phenomena of the inner-worlds. The Foundation's vision is to support artists who are committed to living in harmony with nature and have dedicated their lives to creating works of art that are in deeper relation to the dimensions of the inner-worlds.

The mission of the Foundation is:

1) To explore the phenomena of the inner-worlds and deep levels of consciousness through the visual arts, spontaneous painting and writings, and by other means, and in this way to make visible the invisible and find a more inclusive way of seeing that is in deeper harmony with the natural world.

2) To establish a center in an inspiring atmosphere in the heart of nature to explore and to provide a location for artists in residence, art scholars and researchers, whose work will carry out the Foundation's purposes.

3) To conduct and arrange for lectures, seminars, exhibitions and workshops related to the purpose of the Foundation.

4) To publish books, films, pamphlets and portfolios of an artistic, literary, metaphysical, philosophical or educational nature, and to cooperate with other institutions, foundations, libraries and museums in the
production of books, portfolios, pamphlets, exhibitions and films, and other presentations in visual media, and in educational and research ventures.

The Foundation has been granted federal tax exemption with the status of Private Operating Foundation and has received a tax exemption ruling from the Franchise Tax Board of California.
