Note: The next Artists seminar with Jermey Morgan begins in the Fall of 2010.
The Lucid Art Foundation offers seminars for practicing artists (painters, sculptors, multimedia and installation artists). The seminars are taught by professional artists, art historians, scholars and resident artists. They aim to expand artists' understanding and relationship to their artwork by exploring the inner worlds, nature and the creative process as well as through encouraging dialogue about arts and consciousness.
The seminars include a presentation by an invited artist, dialogue with participants about art and consciousness, presentation of participants artwork, a nature walk, lunch and a visit to the studio of Gordon Onslow Ford.
To attend, participants must submit an application to the Lucid Art Foundation that includes a 200-250 word artist statement, a letter of intent and 10 slides (or a CD) of their work. The Foundation's Seminar Committee will review the applications. There are a maximum of 15 participants for each seminar.
