Artists, Poets, and Visionaries of the S.S. Vallejo: 1949-1969 (2018). This book edited by Fariba Bogzaran tells the story of the Ferryboat Vallejo, moored in Sausalito, that was home, studio, and Bay Area cultural hive of artists and thinkers. Gordon Onslow Ford and Jean Varda were the original artists on the Vallejo, poet and philosopher Alan Watts later lived and worked there.
