Beth Ferguson is a public artist and assistant professor at the University of California Davis. Her art practice focuses on a range of interdisciplinary work such as solar sculptures, printmaking, floating pods, and balloon mapping photography. Her portfolio is filled with community-oriented projects and includes collaborations with arts organizations, festivals, and museums.
The underlying goal of her work is to create a more accessible, ecologically responsible, and future-focused world. She has exhibited her work nationally at the Exploratorium Museum in San Francisco and internationally at the Ars Electronica Festival in Austria, Arts Santa Monica Museum in Spain, and the Otago Museum in New Zealand. She participated in the Resilient by Design Bay Area Challenge with the interdisciplinary team Public Sediment, which won the 2019 EDRA Best Places Award.
She lives and works in Emeryville, California.
