Maritta Tapanainen is a visual artist working in collage. She was born in Finland, raised in Canada, have since lived in Europe, Central America, and the Mojave desert of California. She writes: “My approach to working is intuitive. Progression develops organically. I set out first to create something that satisfies my inner journey through which projects wonderment (hopefully) for others to experience. I have a deep interest in the physical forms, systems, intricacies in nature and reverence for it's spiritual allure.”
